- I tried that yesterday and got the same messages using Eudora 1.4

- I reckon the reason is that it doesn't like being given IP numbers, and will
- only work with computer names - because it insists on going to the name
- resolver.

- I had put in the IP no. in hope that contacting the mailer would be quicker
- that way, but no joy.
